TWC grabbed all North American rights to the film, which stars Javier Bardem, Patricia Clarkson, Penelope Cruz, Rebecca Hall and Scarlett Johansson. A "Manhattan"-esque love letter to Barcelona, it is billed as much lighter in tone and palette than his recent Blighty-set work.
The title characters are Americans played by Johansson and Hall who spend a summer in Spain and become amorously entangled with a couple played by Bardem and Cruz.

"This is now my sixth project with the Weinsteins, and I value the relationship we have created through the years," Allen said.
While running Miramax, Bob and Harvey Weinstein handled "Everyone Says I Love You," "Mighty Aphrodite," "Bullets Over Broadway" and "Celebrity."
While it remains in 107 U.S. theaters, "Cassandra's Dream" has cumed just $742,212 since bowing Jan. 18. Its theater count held steady last weekend, but grosses dropped a steep 56%.
